When working with plastics often want to identify what plastic has been used to manufacture a given product. This is essential to get an idea of \u200b\u200bthe properties of the product. The identification of plastics is usually complicated due to:
- the variety basic polymer can be used
- the large number of additives that can be used to modify the basic polymer properties
- the great variety of blends or composites of polymers that can be taken to obtain the desired properties
